General maintenance

Entrust us with your viticulture work (from pruning to trellising) as well as your maintenance work (repair of vine cables, moorings, stone removal, crushing old vines, etc.) in complete confidence.
We also manage the uprooting and planting of your plots.
Vit’Manu works with other specialized companies: direct contact with vine nurseries, mechanized work providers.
Vit’Manu also handles chemical weed control (grape hod / chasers), mechanical weed control (intercep), phytosanitary treatments but also fertilizers and soil enrichment products.

 

Appropriate technique

Specific pruning according to grape varieties, regions, vine characteristics and environment. Our teams can work on the steepest slopes. Thanks to work management realized by qualified supervisors you can be sure that safety instructions as well as legislation on PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) in force are strictly respected. Vit’Manu realizes the adequate specific pruning and preparation of grafted vines stock bundles. Bundles can be directly delivered at the CIVC (Champagne Production and Trade Committee).

 

Monitoring your plots

Controls, observations of the plots during the repeated inspection visits of the teams and when required by specific events: frost, hail, diseases ... The qualified team leaders detect and show the groups the different diseases, insects, harmful weeds for the vine.

 

Grape harvest

We manage all your harvest period, from hiring the grape pickers to delivering the grapes to your preferred press room. A complete team, supervised by a team leader, harvests your plots at a fixed piece rate. We guarantee that each employee is duly declared. Before the team even enters your plots, we send you all the documents, including:

  • The contract signed between the service provider and the winemaker
  • The pre-hiring declarations (DPAE) of the pickers
    Depending on your needs and the quantity of grapes to be picked, we adapt our teams with more or less grape pickers. You can manage the arrival of the boxes at the press room, harvest during weekends, we adapt to your operation.

     

    2nd harvest

    We harvest 2nd generation clusters in less productive years. We remain at your disposal until the end date of the harvest, ensuring grapes transportation to the press rooms that are still open.
